Fortuna Sittard vs PSV Eindhoven, 16 January 2027, Eredivisie: form, head-to-head and match facts

Fortuna Sittard host league leaders PSV Eindhoven on Saturday, hoping to close the gap on the table while PSV look to cement their perfect record. The Dutch side sit top of the standings with 16 points from six games – five wins and a draw and a comfortable +15 goal difference – whereas the hosts sit seventh with 10 points, having won three, drawn one and lost two, and a modest –2 margin on their 12‑14 record. PSV’s attack, which has already netted 22 goals, will test a Fortuna defence that has conceded 14, while the home side will be eager to improve their goal difference and climb out of the lower half of the table. A win for Fortuna would tighten the race for European spots, but PSV will be determined to maintain their unbeaten run and extend their lead at the summit.
