Lecce vs Inter, 20 December 2026, Serie A: form, head-to-head and match facts

Lecce host Inter on what promises to be a stark contrast in form, with the home side perched in 12th place on six points after two wins and two defeats, while the visitors sit third with a perfect record of three victories. The Salento club’s goal difference of minus two (five scored, seven conceded) underscores the defensive frailties that Inter, boasting a +5 margin (eight for, three against), will look to exploit. In their previous encounters, Inter have generally held the upper hand, and the gap in points – nine to six – suggests the Serie A leaders will arrive confident. Yet Lecce’s two wins this season show they can bite back, and a home crowd could make the difference in a match that may well decide whether Inter extend their unbeaten run or Lecce claw back into the mid‑table race.
