Kristiansund BK vs Molde, 9 August 2026, Eliteserien: form, head-to-head and match facts

Kristiansund BK managed a narrow 2‑1 victory over Molde at home, lifting them to 14th place with 19 points after five wins, four draws and eleven defeats, while their goal difference slipped to –17 (20 scored, 37 conceded). The win was a rare boost for the struggling side, whose recent form has seen them hovering near the relegation zone, whereas Molde remain firmly in the top three with 36 points, a record of eleven wins, three draws and six losses and a +13 goal difference (43‑30). The two clubs have split their head‑to‑head meetings this campaign, each securing one win, so the result restored a perfect balance between them. Kristiansund’s three points tighten the gap to the safety line, while Molde’s slip leaves them still comfortably in the European spots but now a game behind the leaders.
