Genoa held on at home to edge Südtirol 1‑0, earning their first point of the campaign and remaining stuck in 19th place with a meagre three goals for and ten against after five matches. The visitors, who sit second in the table with eleven points from an unbeaten run of three wins and two draws, saw their flawless record marred by the solitary defeat.
