Benevento vs Sampdoria, 30 January 2027, Serie B: form, head-to-head and match facts

Benevento host a desperate Sampdoria in what could prove a turning point for both sides. The home side sit seventh with seven points from two wins, a draw and two defeats, edging a narrow 6‑5 goal difference, while the visitors languish in eighteenth, clinging to four points after one win, one draw and three losses and a -4 goal margin. A win would push Benevento into the top six and keep their promotion hopes alive, whereas Sampdoria must snap their slide to avoid slipping further into the relegation battle. Their head‑to‑head record this season offers no clear advantage, setting the stage for a tightly contested showdown at the Stadio Ciro Vigorito.
