Benevento vs Palermo, 8 May 2027, Serie B: form, head-to-head and match facts

Benevento host top‑of‑the table Palermo in what promises to be a decisive clash in the league. The home side sit seventh with seven points from five games – two wins, a draw and two defeats, and a modest 6‑5 goal difference. Palermo, unbeaten so far, lead the standings on 13 points after four victories and a draw, boasting a superior 10‑5 tally. The gap in form and points makes this a true test for Benevento, who will need to tighten up defensively if they hope to dent Palermo’s perfect run. A win for the visitors would extend their grip on first place, while a draw could keep Benevento’s European ambitions alive.
