Alavés vs Real Madrid, 23 May 2027, La Liga: form, head-to-head and match facts

Alavés host Real Madrid in what promises to be a decisive clash in the top of the table, with the home side sitting third on ten points after three wins, a draw and a loss, and a modest 11‑5 goal difference. Madrid arrive in the Basque city a point clear in second place, having amassed twelve points from an unbeaten run of four victories and one defeat, and they boast a superior 14‑4 margin. The encounter pits Alavés’ solid defensive record against the Spaniards’ potent attack, and a win for either side could tighten the race for the league summit. Historically the two clubs have met sparingly, but the recent form suggests Madrid will look to extend their advantage while Alavés will aim to close the gap and keep the title race alive.
